OXIFLUZELL 24 EC It is a HERBICIDE of the DIPHENYL ETHER family
OXIFLUZELL 24 EC This product acts by contact, is selective and post-emergent. Its effect inhibits protoporphyrinogen-9-oxidase, an enzyme of chloroplasts, which participates in the capture of light. The inhibition of the enzyme causes the release and accumulation of protoporphyrin through the cells, causing disruption of the cell membrane, thus affecting its organization, permeability and ion transport. This has serious consequences for the cell, which are translated into alteration of the photosynthetic system of the weed, causing necrosis of the foliar tissue, desiccation and later death. Simple excited oxygen is produced in the presence of light, which activates the process of inhibiting chlorophyll formation.
OXIFLUZELL 24 EC In land applications use high or low volume equipment. Curtain type nozzles should be used. Before using the equipment, it must be verified that it is in good working order, without leaks and with the correct calibration.
APPLICATION INTERVAL: One application per growing season. It is possible to repeat the treatment if there is a new emergence of weeds at 2-4 weeks later in onion, garlic and melon and at 2-3 months in citrus.
INTERVAL BETWEEN LAST APPLICATION AND HARVEST: 21 days.
