ABAMECTIN 1.8 EC is an INSECTICIDE, ACARICIDAL of the AVERMECTIN family
ABAMECTIN 1.8 EC is broad spectrum. It acts both by ingestion and by contact, although it is more effective when ingested by the pest. It stimulates the presynaptic release of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). In arthropods, it inhibits the transmission of signals in the neuromuscular connections, through an increase in the permeability of the membrane to calcium. Mites and insects are irreversibly paralyzed, stop feeding and die.
ABAMECTIN 1.8 EC: In land applications use high or low volume equipment. Conical type nozzles should be used. Before using the equipment, it must be verified that it is in good working order, without leaks and with the correct calibration.
APPLICATION INTERVAL: the interval between two applications should be: flowers, carnation and ornamental plants, 7 days or continue applying until the pest has been controlled. Tomato and citrus, 2 times every 7 days. Pope, 7 days.
INTERVAL BETWEEN THE LAST APPLICATION AND THE HARVEST: flowers, carnations and ornamentals do not require a waiting period. 7 days for greenhouse tomatoes, and 3 days for tomatoes in the field. Potato 3 to 7 days. Citrus 10 days.
